Individual Training Plans

BBT Training Australia has developed and specializes in developing individual training programs for our clients. We believe strongly that providing individual and personalized training plans for our clients will provide quality outcomes for our trainees and clients/employers. Our Individual training plans will be developed in consultation with:

  • The Trainee
  • The Employer
  • The Employers frontline staff to coordinate site visits
  • BBT Training Australia Management

The consultation process will take into account resources, workplace environmental requirements and operational restraints that may be compromised over the duration of training courses.

Initial Training Plan Meeting

BBT Training Australia recognizes the need for individual and personal training programs tailored to suit every individual clients needs, learning ability and previous experience.

 On enrolment BBT Training Australia will instigate a consultation meeting with:

  • The Trainee
  • The Employer( If required)

During this meeting BBT Training will aim to:

  1. Design a training plan that meets the specific needs of the trainee and employer that will result in the most effective and client focused outcomes
  2. Discuss and design a timetable of events based on trainees work schedule, personal and family restrictions. The timetable will be based on scheduled courses conducted by BBT Training Australia and scheduled site visits to conduct on site evaluations of work performance and the assessment of the same against the training package learning and assessment strategies
  3. Conduct RPL( recognition for prior learning) interview to establish current competencies and complete RPL report as per ATQF standards (where applicable )
  4. Conduct BBT Training on –site Trainee induction procedure and introduction to training course meeting

Off the job training  Block Release  requirements

Trainees will be  required to complete most of their training away from the workplace. Courses are offered on a 'block release' or a 'day release' system, (or a combination of both). A trainee on 'block release' attends classes for a 3 of weeks at a time, while 'day or week release' involves attendance at off-the-job training courses usually for one to five days each week. Block Releases arrangements will be detailed in the intial training plan meeting and agreed strategies will be endorsed by all parties
